The Senior Account Executive will join our team working for B2B clients, helping to support day-to-day management of marketing communications and public relations activities. Ogilvy | FKH represents a diverse array of clients and supports them in a wide variety of activities ranging from communications strategy development, messaging, branding, financial communications, crisis communications, internal communications, advocacy communications, etc. This individual will join a team working for clients which include primarily life sciences tools/technology and health IT companies.


The successful candidate must be able to juggle multiple assignments and clients with a high degree of success and independence. The candidate must have strong writing, editing and proofing skills. The candidate must show strict attention to detail, be highly organized, proactive and inspire confidence among peers and clients. S/he will also enjoy working in a smart, dynamic, entrepreneurial, client-focused, team-oriented environment.



  • Manage projects and events in a collaborative, cross-office environment
  • Conceptualize program strategies and implement tactics
  • Manage day-to-day client account work, including writing various communications materials (i.e.: press releases, fact sheets, media backgrounders, program recommendations, web content.)
  • Provide media relations recommendations and conduct outreach
  • Operate independently and yet demonstrate strong team/collaboration skills
  • Act as liaison between client, outside partners/vendors and internal teams
  • Monitor and manage client budgets and the financial performance of individual client relationships
  • Ability to interface with clients independently as needed

  • Minimum of 6+ years of communications experience in a communications/public relations firm or life sciences organization required (agency/client services or consulting experience preferred)
  • A passion and interest in B2B communications
  • Experience in communicating and “translating” complex scientific and technical information, business to business communications experience
