Finance Intern

As a Finance Intern, you will work with the Project Lead and select Finance and Controller teams to update existing Client Finance and Controller Manuals and document recently introduced processes in accordance with our policies. The project will entail editing existing manuals, which consist of our policies, procedures and detailed instructions of the various functions of both Client Finance and Controlling. Additionally, you will assist in the creation of a Media Processes manual, which will require collating and editing together existing documentation and meeting with select Media unit members to document and collect any needed additional information.

Ideally, you are detail oriented, organized, efficient, and interact well with others. The project will require the ability to process information in order to create a well-documented output. In this role, you will learn and gain great exposure to a diverse selection of DAVID's Financial and Accounting processes providing you with a great foundation for a potential career in Finance and Accounting.

• Update Training and Information Manuals related to the financial operation of the following functions: General Accounting, Client Finance, Utilization, and Media.
• Assist with other ad hoc projects as needed with the Client Finance, Controller, and Utilization teams.

• Finance or Accounting Major required. At least 9 credits earned in Finance/Accounting courses, particularly Corporate Finance and Financial Accounting
• Ability to work 20-25 hours during the week
• Proficient in MS Office. Knowledgeable in Excel functions i.e. Pivot Tables, VLookups, and SUMIF
• Strong written communication skills, be able to learn and translate complex processes in a clear, simple format
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Resourceful, responsible, team player, high energy, personable, and good communication skills
