We are looking for a Senior Director, Loyalty Strategy who will be responsible for leading loyalty and customer engagement strategy for our clients – someone with executive-level client relationship skills who will help build client confidence in our strategic capability and demonstrate our commitment to client success.  As a leader within a collaborative team, you would be managing team members’ supporting activities including competitive tracking, data analysis, financial modeling, mechanics and operations, and research. You may also support new business development in this role.


  • Drive internal partnerships to bring new and progressive ideas to clients, leveraging best practices in data-driven loyalty, CRM and customer engagement
  • Become a “trusted advisor” to executive client stakeholders
  • Lead high-profile engagements, in partnership with the agency’s account services team
  • Develop innovative ideas to build and optimize global loyalty & customer engagement programs
  • Recommend strategies to optimize member engagement, especially in digital and mobile channels
  • Provide thought leadership in areas of customer loyalty, retention, acquisition, advocacy and mobile engagement
  • Advocate for best-in-class program ideation and enhancements
  • Develop business cases to support recommended strategies and innovations
  • Analyze marketing and research data and propose “way-forward” for client program
  • Conduct senior-level client updates
  • Design and recommend detailed strategic approaches to address client business needs


  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related field. Advanced degree is preferred
  • 15+ years of relevant customer marketing and loyalty experience; ideally in Direct Marketing, CRM or Loyalty Marketing
  • Able to build deep client and industry knowledge, and identify trends, gaps and opportunities from data and client/industry information
  • Deep experience with loyalty programs, customer engagement, customer analysis, business metrics, financial modeling, program and promotional tracking & evaluation
  • Agency experience is preferred, but strategic client-side experience will also be considered
  • Good listener with demonstrated experience building positive executive-level client relationships
  • Effective problem-solver who can manage time and resources effectively
  • Very strong storytelling and presentation development skills; commanding presence and ability to be a convincing consultant
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to change direction quickly when required by client or project needs
  • Up to 50% travel
