Ogilvy │ FKH is seeking an experienced and passionate project and account manager to join our Health & Wellness Group. Our new Account Supervisor will independently manage several small accounts or major projects, supported by close collaboration from both junior and senior staff. As an emerging leader, our new AS will serve as a counselor to both clients and junior staff members, providing excellent client service and effectively manage people and projects with a high degree of confidence, independence, commitment to excellence, and sound judgment.


Our new AS will have the opportunity to work with innovators and disruptors at the forefront of healthcare innovation. Our uniquely diverse healthcare clients include emerging biotechs, global pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, advocacy groups, medical device and diagnostic companies, policy organizations and more.


  • Serve as the primary contact for healthcare clients, helping account leads to set and manage client expectations on a day-to-day basis and anticipating needs and developing solutions for clients and senior leadership
  • Contribute to ongoing strategic counsel that reflects an increasing knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry
  • Manage account team to ensure work is appropriately delegated to the right staff members within the team structure and project deadlines are on target
  • Help nurture and grow junior staff members, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for professional advancement
  • Develop high-level communications materials, ensuring that all materials and correspondence are strategic, appropriate for target audiences, and support clients’ communications objectives
  • Establish and maintain relationships with trade and consumer media, providing strategic guidance on media engagement and support with media pitching, as needed
  • Monitor client budgets and maintain accurate project budgets, assisting with monthly projections, expense tracking, and invoicing as needed
  • Participate in new business development, including taking an active role in developing budgets, timelines, and recommendations for programs to potential new or existing clients


  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree in a related field a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in public relations; agency experience preferred
  • Previous experience in the development of communications programs for healthcare companies or organizations required; implementation of integrated, cross-functional campaigns a plus
  • Strong presentation, writing, and editing skills, including the ability to communicate scientific data or information for a variety of audiences
  • Deep project management experience, including ability to monitor and manage budgets and team financial performance
  • Previous experience – and interest – in managing, training and mentoring junior staff
