  • Overview

    Ogilvy is seeking an experienced communications professional to join its Corporate Reputation practice as an Account Supervisor (AS) in San Francisco or Denver. Ogilvy’s corporate offering generates strategic communications programs, which reach media, influencers, consumers, employees, policymakers and investors, to meet clear objectives for clients.     Responsibilities

    • Proactively, efficiently, and independently manages projects for multiple small accounts or a project for a larger account
    • Develops and manages projects/programs including implementation of plans
    • Act as primary day-to-day client contact on projects; keeps teams informed of all updates and progress as well as identifies any emerging account problems
    • Effectively plans and manages events (e.g., press conference, media tour, tradeshows, etc.)
    • Develops accurate project budgets and monitors them effectively
    • Oversees timely development and distribution of bills and activity reports
    • Identifies and pursues opportunities for developing new business and provides leadership in organic growth of current clients
    • Understands strengths/opportunities of junior team members; provides guidance and counseling
    • Stays current on trends in corporate reputation, CSR and sustainability

    Qualifications

    • 4-6 years experience in corporate communications, prior PR agency experience preferred
    • Experience with CSR communications, stakeholder/influencer engagement, media relations, and digital/social
    • Some crisis/issues management experience preferred
    • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns
    • Effective at working with cross-functional and remote teams
    • High energy, deadline driven, accountable
    • Leadership skills to drive for results
    • Proven experience successfully managing mid-size to large agency clients - both from a client service and a program execution perspective
    • Strong financial acumen, able to manage large budgets and staffing projections
    • Strong strategic and creative thinking
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • BA/BS
