    We are seeking a talented Senior Copywriter who will collaborate directly with account managers, designers and developers in executing and ideating concepts.  In this role, you would be responsible for aligning creative concepts with strategy, technical specifications, production planning, execution and quality assurance, and be responsible for the overall aesthetic of the work. You will take strategic direction from the Associate Creative Directors and Creative Director, and help make their vision a reality.

    Responsibilities

    • Team with departmental peers to concept and execute sound creative ideas for client marketing materials in an efficient and economical manner
    • Write expert, branded copy in a distinct voice that supports a variety of US and Global business units
    • Create concepts that are extendable into campaigns and effective in print and online, and be able to present these concepts in a way that shows a thorough understanding of the strategy, while developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of our clients’ brand identity and implementing it into all creative jobs
    • Drive continuous process improvements to discover efficiencies and make recommendations to improve standards
    • Be a brand steward
    • Offer client and team members innovative advice and solutions from industry examples and experience
    • Offer insight on creative briefs and schedules
    • Prioritize workload and manage time effectively – personally and for the team as needed.
    • Work with Account Supervisors and/or Account Executives to obtain project specifics: strategy, budget and schedule; offer insights on creative briefs and project schedules
    • Work independently and in conjunction with team members to develop and refine concepts, campaigns and creative ideas
    • Help maintain and oversee creative standards and guidelines
    • Assist in negotiating with or supervising third party vendors, as needed, to insure the client’s best interests are being addressed
    • Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner
    • Help organize creative resources and guidelines
    • Work alongside the design and production teams to ensure creative vision is achieved and client expectations are meet

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with English, journalism or marketing focus
    • Five or more years of copywriting, advertising and interactive experience
    • Interest and a good understanding of social media
    • Online portfolio of writing samples is required for consideration
    • Demonstrated, hands-on experience creating exceptional brand experiences
    • Demonstrated passion for all things creative and a strong desire to learn industry best practices
    • Demonstrated understanding of and curiosity about current and emerging digital channels and platforms
    • Awareness and understanding of current technologies
    • Experience presenting to and working with clients and internal partners
    • Ability to work and collaborate with creative team members, including other designers, writers and developers
    • Ability to contribute through the entire design life cycle, from producing rough concepts to delivering a polished solution – without always having to be told what to do
    • Demonstrated understanding of clients’ business needs, and the ability to concept and design compelling solutions that align with overall creative strategy
    • Proven ability to listen, digest and resolve client feedback with a creative solution and a positive, can-do attitude
    • Open-mindedness, positive thinking and enthusiasm
    • Excellent time-management and communication skills
    • Great sense of humor; willingness to work hard
    • Ability to think in the big picture, while still obsessive about the details
    • Capable of working on multiple projects, small or large, with various project leads
    • Strong creative and conceptual vision, with the ability to approach every assignment with a fresh perspective
