  • Overview

    The Ogilvy New Business team is a centralized, best-in-class group servicing the entire range of new client opportunities in the USA. We are searching for a new team member with deep digital background. This person will ensure that our digital services are front and center across all pitches both as unique offerings and across all integrated submissions. We are searching for a key leader to represent, sell and integrate these capabilities across clients, prospects and pitches. 

    Responsibilities

    Active Pitching 

    • Skillfully lead pitches from start-to-finish including assessing opportunities and collaborating with key internal stakeholders on pitch deliverables.
    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of client business goals and how they align to the Ogilvy’s digital offerings.
    • Represent our digital offerings within our wide range of pitches and ensure the right resources are pulled in as needed.
    • Collaborate, craft and assign RFI/P responses that represent the best of Ogilvy’s offering.
    • Ability to work in an integrated pitch environment, where digital is a critical component and determining factors for success in the pitch.

    Prospecting:

    • Plan and execute strategies to target clients from a digital first service lens.
    • Partner with current client leads to identify organic digital growth opportunities.

    Qualifications

    • BA/S or equivalent in relevant field required.
    • At least 4-7 years of experience in “agency” business development, including demonstrable success in winning integrated/digital-first agency accounts.
    • RFI/P, Active pitch management and prospecting experience is required.
    • Deep understanding of Social, Mobile, Digital CRM, Experience Design etc.
    • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team, with a commitment to teamwork, and thrive in a sensitive, fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
    • Must possess high emotional intelligence, and have an ability to prioritize, take initiative, and multi-task.
    • Key characteristics that are essential to the team culture: roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do attitude, positivity and passion!
    • Successful and proven written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
    • Penchant for digital solutions, and desire to keep up with the latest digital trends.
