    Love management consulting but looking for something a little different? Ogilvy’s marketing and innovation strategy consultancy is seeking a highly motivated, business savvy individual who is interested in joining the team as a Consultant.

       

    Ogilvy Consulting is the strategy and innovation arm of The Ogilvy Group. Ogilvy Consulting brings agile, global teams of consultants together at the intersection of brand, growth, innovation and digital. We are positioned as the strategic advisors to the C-Suite on all aspects of brand, marketing and business growth. 

     

    Consultants play an integral role in all aspects of client engagement by analyzing brand behavior and industry trends, participating in interviews, and work sessions, conducting quantitative analysis, designing and analyzing market research, communicating with clients, developing strategic recommendations and creating client presentations.

     

    The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of creative thinking, strategic and analytical skills and an understanding of brand strategy, including positioning. The candidate should aspire to be an advisor to business leaders and have a strong brand sensibility and strong research, analytical and presentation development skills (both written and verbal).

     

    This position provides the right candidate with the unique opportunity to grow into an industry expert in a cutting-edge area of brand and innovation consulting.

    Responsibilities

    • Managing the day-to-day project engagement, including the client relationship
    • Participate in all aspects of our methodology and work, including analyzing quantitative research and creating financial models, as well as creative thinking and developing strategic recommendations
    • Developing breakthrough brand strategies and positioning
    • Participating in interviews and work sessions
    • Taking ownership of developing client deliverables and presentations with a strong visual aesthetic and strategic rigor
    • Participating in developing new business proposals and pitches to new clients
    • Managing junior team members as necessary for the successful running of project engagements
    • Participating in client and external interviews and client presentations
    • Actively participating in practice management, including training and recruiting
    • Analyzing brand behaviors and industry trends
    • Conducting competitor analyses
    • Taking an active role in communicating with clients
    • Developing strategic recommendations
    • Presenting key sections of the findings to clients
    • Helping with business development

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university, with a strong academic background
    • 1 to 2 years of experience in a professional services company or management consultancy
    • Brand Savviness
    • Strong writing skills
    • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to take initiative and to work independently and within a team
    • Resourceful problem-solving skills
    • A quick learner with a strong sense of curiosity
    • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, especially in high pressure situations
    • Strong work ethic with superior attention to detail
    • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Travel is expected as a part of all project engagements, though less time is spent on client premises than at a traditional firm (we are more market facing)
