We are seeking an experienced marketing strategy consultant to join our growing team as a Global Consulting Director within our New York based Health & Wellness consulting practice.

    The ideal candidate will bring to each project a unique blend of project management, research and analytic skills, together with the ability to think strategically and creatively.     Responsibilities

    • Active day-to-day project management, including structuring work plans, developing and managing timelines, creating deliverables, and managing client engagement and relationships
    • Leading problem-solving, including developing hypotheses, designing analytics to prove/disprove hypotheses, extracting implications from data, and generating well supported recommendations
    • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis that generates meaningful insights
    • Leading client and external interviews
    • Creating and delivering client presentations
    • Creating high-quality project deliverables and high-impact client outcomes
    • Managing and coaching junior team members on engagements with larger teams, and/or working independently to deliver assignments with minimal supervision when necessary
    • Participating in developing new business with existing and new clients
    • Contributing to practice development, including IP creation, training and recruiting

    Qualifications

    • 5-8+ years of business strategy, marketing strategy, or innovation strategy with a leading healthcare focused consultancy/practice, or company within the healthcare sector (e.g. pharma, device, biotech, etc.)
    • While it is not necessary to have direct experience in more than one sector of healthcare, it is important to have transferable skills and knowledge that is broadly relevant across healthcare
    • Proven experience in leading major marketing / brand initiatives, from design to impact
    • Demonstrated creative problem-solving capabilities
    • Strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills
    • Proven experience with quantitative analysis, ideally including financial modeling
    • Ability to both work independently, and contribute in team settings
    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (MBA or graduate degree is preferred)
    • Travel is expected as a part of all engagements, with projects sometimes involving daily work on-site at client offices
    • NYC / New Jersey based candidates are preferred (our office is in NYC and many of our clients are based in New Jersey)
