  • Overview

    The Ogilvy New Business team is a best in class, centralized group servicing the wide range of new client opportunities in the US. At Ogilvy, we seek to Make Brands Matter and that extends across all touchpoints. We are looking for a new addition to our growing new business team, who is eager to help lead the agency in acquiring new clients – working on every stage of the pitch process from initial leads to presenting strategy and creative ideas to prospective clients. The Business Development Account Executive will focus on supporting the USA Business Development team, and will play a significant role in various parts of the pitch process and prospecting initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    Active Pitching

    • Skillfully support pitch leads from start-to-finish including assessing opportunities and collaborating with key internal stakeholders on pitch deliverables
    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Ogilvy’s integrated offerings for prospective clients to inform key pitch deliverables
    • Compile, develop, and present client/competitive/agency research for pitch Kickoff meetings to help inform pitch strategy
    • Work cross-functionally with production teams to put together agency reels, and case studies as needed
    • Assist in the preparation of all Final Presentation documents, with a diverse group of internal stakeholders and various internal departments ranging from deck design, proofreading, catering, pitch theatre and production.
    • Collaborate with team to draft RFI/P responses that represent the best of Ogilvy’s offering.
    • Ability to work in an integrated pitch environment

     

    Prospecting:

    • Support teams in executing strategies to win target clients in various integrated assignments
    • Active prospecting, support in conjunction with client teams to develop and grow pipeline for organic growth opportunities
    • Prepare and present industry or company dossiers, to inform prospecting strategy, as needed

    Qualifications

    • BA/S or equivalent in relevant field required
    • At least 1 year of experience in agency business development or new business internship
    • RFI/P, Active Pitch Management and Prospecting experience is favorable.
    • Successful and proven written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team, with a commitment to teamwork, and thrive in a sensitive, fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
    • Ability to problem-solve and communicate creative solutions, with attention to detail
    • Must possess high emotional intelligence, have an ability to prioritize, take initiative, and multi-task.

    • Penchant for advertising, and desire to keep up with the latest industry trends
