  • Overview

    The Client Finance Analyst provides financial support to client account teams.  Job responsibilities include issuing client invoices, leading WIP and Out of Pocket meetings; providing financial support to client account teams and ensuring adherence to contract billing policies.


    • Issuing client invoices
    • Lead and participate in financial meetings (WIP and Out of Pocket)
    • Secure client P.O. or necessary work/payment authorizations and ensure adherence to contract billing policies and workflow procedures, as well as monitor accounts receivable status and follow-up on aged balances with client
    • Provide financial support to client account teams and monitor client budgets on a project basis
    • Provide financial information to various departments and clients as required
    • Provide client financial analysis in the review of monthly results and summary of monthly billings and reconciliation
    • Assist in the creation client staffing plans, including calculating fees for client staffing plans
    • Generate professional financial reports for review
    • Prepare journal entries and submit them to the Corporate Controller Group
    • Reconcile labor hours on client projects
    • Assist in internal and external Audits
    • Participate in Sarbanes Oxley initiatives
    • Participate in Ad Hoc projects as assigned. 


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • 2-5 years of related financial analysis and/or accounting experience, preferably within an advertising, marketing, PR or service industry environment.
    • Finance/Accounting knowledge (Balance Sheet, A/R, P&Ls, etc.) While this isn't an accounting position, understanding accounting principles is crucial.
    • A positive outlook and imagination
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work in within a team and independently
    • Excellent experience with MS Office, especially Excel. Creating and using complicated spreadsheets are part of everyday work, so the ideal candidate should be very computer adept and a fast learner of new applications.
    • Microsoft Outlook and SAP experience is a plus
