  • Overview

    Responsible for the day to day administration of the corporate benefits program, including all retirement and health and welfare plans.  

    Responsibilities

    • Day to day administration of the corporate Benefits Program, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, 401k, plan, pension plan, life insurance, short and long term disability, transportation/parking programs, and COBRA.
    • Respond to employee benefits inquiries via telephone and email hotline.
    • Liaise with vendors to resolve escalated employee issues.
    • Assist the Benefits Coordinator with conducting New Hire Benefits Orientation.
    • Serve as day to day contact for vendors and third party administrators.
    • Coordinate and perform transfer of data to vendors for plan administration.
    • Assist with open enrollment as well as the implementation and administration of benefits programs and other projects, as required.
    • Provide data management and reporting for compliance purposes, including NDT and retirement plan audits.
    • Assist Director of Benefits with implementing and organizing  Corporate Wellness Programs.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of Benefits Administration experience
    • Bachelor degree
    • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
    • Demonstrated proficiency in collaboration, teamwork and communication (written and verbal)
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Experience with SAP HRIS/Benefits system
