    Ogilvy is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join the Finance team of our Washington DC office.  Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Contracts and Finance, you will assist with the management of government and potentially commercial contracts, provide day to day administration & management, and ensure compliance with and adherence to Federal regulations.  This is an excellent opportunity to use your superior client service skills and contract administration experience for a leading communications firm.  


    The Contracts Administrator is responsible for the administration & management of government contracts for our Washington, DC office. The majority of contracts are of an ID/IQ task order nature with contract types including cost reimbursable, T&M, FFP, and FP-LOE. Under limited supervision, this position will be responsible for RFP analysis, cost proposal preparation to include pricing, terms and conditions, negotiations, contract administration, preparation of modification requests and processing, client invoicing oversight, AR coordination, subcontract & small business management, contract financial management to include job set up, budget tracking, revenue recognition and forecasting oversight, closeout activities and coordinating issues with account staff and other internal departments. 


    • BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
    • At least 3 years relevant experience in government contract administration
    • Experience with Federal ID/IQ contracts
    • Knowledge of SAP software preferred
    • Knowledge of CPFF, T&M, Fixed Price contracts, and FAR regulations
    • Must have a strong understanding of program management functions
    • Ability to effectively manage proposal schedules, changes, and enforcement of contract terms and conditions
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and to handle multiple activities, contracts and customers simultaneously
    • Proven ability to apply problem-solving skills to develop strategic solutions
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential
    • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and all levels of staff
    • Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office programs, particularly MS Excel. Ability to set up forms in Word and pricing spreadsheets in Excel.
    • Certificates in contract management a plus
