    Ogilvy’s Social Practice is seeking a Senior Strategist of Influencer Marketing to work on a range of brands, bring social expertise and perspective in an integrated environment. Our new Senior Strategist will work on Social Media Influencer Marketing programs and must have a strategic mindset and deep knowledge in the social media space. We are seeking someone with superior relationship building skills and must also possess the ability to be a team leader and team player. The position will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of day-to-day influencer marketing activities on behalf of brands, using influencers as brand advocates, content promoters, and content contributors

    Responsibilities

    • Craft full scale influencer campaigns from beginning to end, working cross functionally with Public Relations, Digital and Advertising teams
    • Develop and execute Influencer Program and Distribution Strategies
    • Create and conduct influencer briefs for clients and influencers
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts within the influencer space while also ensuring that client/agency relationships exist on multiple levels and grow over time
    • Oversee research, identification, and relationship management with influencers that help meet brand goals via influencer partnerships
    • Determine KPIs and develop - or have an understanding of - influencer paid strategies
    • Analyzes and accesses success of campaign to provide valuable insights
    • Remain on the pulse of influencer marketing trends to ensure creative, maximum exposure
    • Work closely with the Head of Influencer Marketing to assist in managing account team to ensure that work is delegated to the appropriate personnel within the team structure
    • Provides proactive leadership to accounts, staff and clients
    • Efficiently and effectively plans and manages large-scale event

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in social media influencer strategy; experience in driving talent partnerships
    • Strong consumer-driven relationship building history with demonstrated success in securing effective influencers for large scale campaigns
    • Strong project management, counseling, programming, people management and business development skills
    • Understanding of how to manage budgets and influencer fees
    • Experience managing people and teams, cross-office is a plus
    • Understands and can oversee influencer paid strategies and executions
    • Must have a strong understanding of developing and securing legal contracts with influencers, clients and legal counsel
    • Can develop influencer criteria, conduct audits and research
    • Has extensive experience working with influencer and content management tools
    • Understands influencer search tools and platforms to assess the effectiveness of an influencer
