    Our Executive Directors bring value to our clients through their exceptional modern marketing skills.  “In it to win it’, they have great hunting instincts and know when to bring in the capabilities to meet client needs and help close the deal.  They typically act as managers of one large and/or multiple smaller Integrated regional/global accounts that account for $5-20MM in revenue. They possess C-Suite gravitas and are valued by our most senior clients for their partnership and strategic guidance. They are agency hunters and team builders who drive client business results, as well as our Agency share of wallet. Importantly, they act as advocates and champions of the Ogilvy brand to our clients, employees and candidates alike.  They are exceptional team leaders who inspire others to act courageously.  Must have existing experience working in B2B with focus on mobile products or technology a plus.

    Responsibilities

    Here’s what you’ll be doing to lead Agency and Client growth

    • Managing one large regional/global Integrated client and/or a portfolio of clients’ businesses worth $5-10MM in revenue
    • Ability to make the connections with the extended Ogilvy global teams both in terms of client business challenges, opportunities and ways to integrate both strategically as well as tactically.
    • Nurturing and growing key senior client relationships by being a trusted advisor to senior client management and working as an objective insider and advocate for the entire client organization
    • Constantly hunting for organic new business growth
    • Leading client thinking on strategy development and providing targeted, actionable insights
    • Ability to nimbly identify client needs and match the agency resources to that need quickly and for greatest impact. This may require shifts across teams or P&Ls within Ogilvy.
    • Understanding the agency business model, the Ogilvy OS and identifying and utilizing all Agency capabilities to produce exceptional results for the client
    • Partnering with capabilities leads to ensure delivery on our Make Brands Matter promise
    • Managing client P&L, business growth and an operating target margin of 60%
    • Keeping your eye on client satisfaction metrics and associated performance measures
    • Generating ideas and actions that produce tangible business results
    • Initiating thought leadership projects that enhance our reputation and add value to our client’s business
    • Partnering with PMO’s to ensure appropriate resources are available to deliver and drive client growth
    • Managing integrated agency teams of 10+, inspiring and motivating action across departments and capabilities; fostering teamwork
    • Attracting and retaining core talent and managing others to their maximum potential; developing and maintaining high levels of team effectiveness and satisfaction (target below 20% attrition)
    • Working closely with HR on performance reviews and goal setting for your team; setting aggressive yet achievable performance goals for self and others
    • Cultivating an atmosphere that embraces diversity and inclusion within the team and agency

    Qualifications

    Here’s what you’ll bring to the table

     

    • Ability to be a champion for the client’s business – being able to ingrain themselves into the client organization with an in depth understanding of the business and the customers they are selling to
    • 11-14 years of experience, including 7+ years of supervisory experience
    • Digitally fluent, with an understanding of the complex, fragmented media landscape
    • Deep and thorough understanding of Ogilvy’s portfolio, using all available capabilities to drive annual client growth of 3-5%
    • Strong business & financial acumen
    • Being the client’s gatekeeper; ensuring creative excellence/output
    • Divinely discontent with the status quo, an agent for change
    • Strong networker of both internal and external talent
    • Authentically passionate about the work, your team and our business
    • Student of life, naturally curious and early adopter A good listener, someone who reads people and those in a room well (and adapts their style and response accordingly)
